Skiers Back From Australia
After a great summer of preparation with Scott Livingston, Paulo Saldanha and Jaime
Livingston our skiers were ready to get back on snow in August.
Jennifer Heil, Stéphanie St-Pierre and Alexandre Bilodeau went to Australia to ski at Perisher Blue where you can find the best on-snow training in the world at that time. The mountain did a terrific job providing a training site that was as good if not better then some World Cup courses experienced during the winter. The snow conditions were fine and the wonderful weather allowed our skiers to ski all15 days that were planned.
This year we brought along our own athletic therapist. Jaime Livingston not only made sure the little injuries were dealt with on the spot but also directed the athlete’s physical training based on programming created by Scott Livingston.
All three athletes accomplished the technical objectives fixed for the camp. Alexandre Bilodeau is now more precise and his new position allows him to ski faster with more control. Jenn Heil improved her jumping technique while improving some fundamentals in her turns. Stephanie St-Pierre also improved her jumps and is now more consistent at high speed.

At the camp we saw that the many days spent working with Daniel Murphy at the water ramp in Quebec city had a positive impact on-snow.
Next step is to focus on individual conditioning to be able to maximize the upcoming on-snow camp next month in Zermatt (Switzerland) at 12,000 feet.
